Drawing Fundamentals: Bargue Copy
Learn the fundamentals of drawing over three sessions. Suitable for all levels (including complete beginners). All materials provided.
Making copies of these masterworks by the 19th century artist Charles Bargue is the traditional way to learn how to draw and paint from life; even Picasso and Van Gogh started this way!
At the beginning of the course you will choose from a selection of plates to work from (see below for examples). You will then make a copy of this image over the three sessions with guidance from your teacher Kieran throughout the process. This course is a perfect way for beginners to learn about the fundamentals of drawing. It will also help anyone who struggles with working from life.
